Who We Are
Midsummer Ensemble was a theatre troupe based in Santa Cruz, California, that performed annually from 2022 to 2026. The ensemble was founded by Molly Meyers and Isaac Ludington when they brought together a group of actors for a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After that, the ensemble transformed into a full-scale troupe of professional-level actors dedicated to telling interesting and powerful stories. Midsummer Ensemble was also a queer-run organization, and the troupe frequently included queer themes in their work.
